Description

We are seeking an Applications Developer to support mission-focused work. Responsible for full-stack software development, design, and O&M to deliver scalable, secure, custom web applications and services supporting complex visual, media, or business data products. The position requires an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain frontend user interfaces and backend microservices or APIs.
• Develop and automate cloud-native infrastructure, data pipelines, and deployment environments.
• Decompose functional requirements into technical specifications, tasks, and user stories.
• Ensure high code quality, accessibility, security compliance, and performance optimization.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Frontend & backend application development support for producer experience & complex visual products
• Git & GitHub version control
• HTML5/CSS3, Hugo or static site generators, SASS
• JavaScript, Angular, Vue, React, Node.js
• TypeScript, Webpack, Lerna, or Electron
• AWS infrastructure & automation (CloudFormation, CloudWatch, S3, ELB)
• Express.js, Koa.js, or NGINX
• RDS, MySQL, or DynamoDB
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) required.
• Must work on-site in McLean, VA.

Salary for this position is determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, and contract-specific budget considerations.

Proposed Salary Range: $210,000 – $250,000
