What we collect. The résumé file you upload and the information extracted from it (such as your name, skills, work history, and seniority), together with the job matches, fit scores, and tailored résumé and cover-letter content we generate for you.
How we use it. Solely to power the features you requested — matching you to live remote jobs, scoring your fit, and tailoring your résumé and cover letters. We do not sell your résumé or its contents, and your résumé is never used to train third-party AI models.
Processing partner. Résumé parsing, matching, scoring, and tailoring are carried out by our job-data provider, JobDataLake, acting as our processor under contract. Your résumé is processed for inference only and is not retained by the underlying AI providers beyond limited abuse monitoring.
Consent. We store your résumé only after you give explicit consent at the time of upload. The free résumé match tool is anonymous — nothing about that upload is stored.
Retention. A stored résumé is kept while your account is active and is automatically deleted after 12 months of inactivity. When you delete your résumé (or your account), we stop using it immediately; we may retain a copy for a short quality-review period of up to 30 days and then permanently delete it (file and all derived data).
Your rights. You can download your résumé data and permanently delete it at any time from your account settings. To exercise any data right, contact [email protected].
We display advertising on individual job pages to visitors who are not paid members. Paid members never load advertising code at all.
Third-party ad serving. We use Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to remotefront.com or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
When advertising code loads. Advertising code is not loaded when a page first opens. It loads only after you interact with the page, and never for paid members or on closed job listings. If you never interact with a page, no advertising code runs on it.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland. Before personalised advertising cookies are used, we ask for your consent through a Google-certified consent management platform. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the consent controls on the site.
Opting out. You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at adssettings.google.com. You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices. Opting out does not remove advertising; it means the advertising you see is less relevant to you.
Measurement. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and a Google Ads conversion tag to measure whether our own advertising leads to sign-ups. Both set cookies. Neither is used to build a profile of you for sale, and we do not sell personal information.
Essential cookies. Separately from the above, we set a session cookie when you sign in, which is required for the site to work and is not used for advertising.
