Accountabilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement web and API-based software solutions for enterprise applications.

• Develop and unit test REST web services and HTTPS-based web applications using tools such as SOAP UI and Postman.

• Build and maintain both backend and frontend components for web-based applications.

• Translate business requirements into maintainable code that follows established development, documentation, and design standards.

• Collaborate with application specialists and client stakeholders to support enterprise applications and resolve technical challenges.

• Investigate, assess, and triage application issues according to priority, urgency, and established service-level agreements.

• Resolve software defects thoroughly and within required timelines, escalating complex or high-priority issues when appropriate.

• Perform integration testing and contribute to delivering reliable, defect-free solutions.

• Manage multiple development and support priorities simultaneously while maintaining project timelines and quality standards.

• Analyze vendor-released application upgrades and assess their potential impact on existing systems.

• Participate in cross-training, knowledge sharing, and the development of technical best practices across teams.

• Learn and adopt new applications, technologies, and development tools as client environments evolve.

• Promote effective communication, collaboration, and strong working relationships with technical and client-facing teams.

Requirements

• At least 6–7 years of professional experience as a Programmer/Analyst, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or in a comparable technical role.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, AngularJS, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Hibernate, Maven, and Bootstrap.

• Experience working with Oracle, JBoss, GitLab, SQL Developer or Toad, JIRA, JBoss Cruise Control, and Eclipse.

• Solid understanding of REST web services, HTTPS-based applications, unit testing, and integration testing.

• Practical experience with API testing and troubleshooting tools such as SOAP UI and Postman.

• Ability to develop across both frontend and backend layers of web applications.

• Strong SQL and database development knowledge, particularly within Oracle environments.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with sound judgment when diagnosing technical issues.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong customer and client-service orientation.

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision while remaining collaborative and responsive to team needs.

• Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to software quality, documentation, and development standards.

• Ability to perform effectively under pressure, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.

• Comfortable rapidly learning new applications and technologies within evolving enterprise environments.

Benefits

• Salary: Approximately $115,000–$135,000 annually, depending on experience and education.
