Overview

We’re looking for a Software Engineer (Full Stack, Frontend-Leaning) to join our product engineering team. This is a true full-stack role where you’ll work across both the frontend and backend, with a stronger focus on building high-quality, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.

Our current technology stack includes a PHP/Laravel API backend and a hybrid AngularJS + modern Angular frontend. However, we value strong software engineering fundamentals and transferable experience over exact technology matches.

Responsibilities

What Youll Do

• Build, enhance, and maintain features across the full stack, from APIs to user interfaces.
• Develop accessible, reusable, and maintainable frontend components.
• Work within a hybrid AngularJS and modern Angular codebase and contribute to its continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver user-focused features.
• Write unit and integration tests and contribute to automated testing efforts, including End-to-End (E2E) testing.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, improve, and refactor existing code to enhance performance, maintainability, and quality.
• Learn from experienced engineers while sharing ideas and contributing to the team.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience developing and maintaining full-stack web applications.
• Strong interest or experience in frontend development using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.js, or similar.
• Backend development experience using a mature framework such as Laravel, Node.js, Django, Rails, or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web development practices.
• Familiarity with building accessible user interfaces, including semantic HTML and basic WCAG concepts.
• Exposure to or interest in End-to-End (E2E) testing using tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to work across different areas of the application.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and engineering teams.

 

**Candidate must be open to work from 6pm-3am or 10pm-7am (Mon-Friday)

**Role is Full-Time position.
