General Summary

The Delta Test Coordinator is responsible for coordinating customer-focused testing of software changes, enhancements, and new releases prior to production deployment. This position serves as a key liaison between customers, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to ensure software changes meet customer needs, function as expected, and are ready for successful release.

The Delta Test Coordinator manages the end-to-end customer testing process, including identifying and coordinating participating customers, developing test scenarios and timelines, facilitating test execution, collecting and communicating feedback, tracking issues through resolution, coordinating retesting, and supporting release-readiness decisions.

This role helps strengthen the quality and predictability of Vynes software releases by ensuring customer feedback and real-world workflows are incorporated into the testing process before changes are broadly released.




Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate customer testing of new SaaS features, enhancements, fixes, and product changes prior to broader production release.
  • Develop and maintain customer testing plans, timelines, test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and success measures.
  • Identify and coordinate appropriate customers to participate in beta and delta testing programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers participating in software testing activities.
  • Provide participating customers with testing instructions, documentation, release information, expected outcomes, and other resources needed to complete testing effectively.
  • Monitor customer testing progress and proactively address barriers to ensure testing activities remain on schedule.
  • Collect, document, organize, and communicate customer feedback related to functionality, usability, workflow, and overall product experience.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to communicate testing results, customer feedback, risks, and identified issues.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and customer-reported issues through resolution.
  • Coordinate retesting and customer validation after defects, enhancements, or other changes have been addressed.
  • Validate that software changes meet defined acceptance criteria and customer requirements before release.
  • Identify potential customer-impacting issues, workflow gaps, usability concerns, and adoption barriers before software is released broadly.
  • Maintain accurate testing documentation, customer feedback, test results, issue logs, and release-readiness reports.
  • Provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders regarding testing progress, risks, outstanding issues, and customer feedback.
  • Help establish, document, and improve repeatable processes for customer beta, delta, and release testing.
  • Analyze testing results and identify trends or recurring issues that may affect product quality, customer adoption, or customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the Voice of the Customer throughout the software development and release process.
  • Support continuous improvement of customer testing practices to increase the consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness of software releases.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business and organizational objectives.

Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience working with SaaS or software products and customers.
  • Experience in customer success, software testing, beta programs, implementation, project coordination, product operations, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating projects, testing activities, or customer-facing initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience documenting software defects, customer feedback, testing results, or product requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, testing activities, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies, potential issues, and gaps in testing or requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate information and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with customers and internal teams, including Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
  • Familiarity with software development, quality assurance, testing, and release processes.
  • Ability to understand software functionality and customer workflows well enough to develop meaningful test scenarios and evaluate testing results.
  • Ability to clearly document defects, customer feedback, testing outcomes, risks, and release-readiness information.
  • Ability to prioritize customer feedback and testing issues based on impact, urgency, and business needs.
  • Experience with CRM, ticketing, project management, or software testing tools preferred.
  • Experience working in a healthcare technology, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), or other highly regulated software environment is a plus.
