Senior Frontend Engineer – React, TypeScript & Data Visualization

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and evolve a complex enterprise web application used to work with large volumes of data.

You will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable frontend experiences using React and TypeScript, including interactive dashboards, data visualizations, complex workflows, and reusable UI components.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving challenging frontend problems, understands how React works under the hood, and has experience building performant applications with complex state, large datasets, and sophisticated user interfaces.

What Youll Do

• Build and maintain complex, production-grade web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Develop interactive dashboards, data visualizations, visual editors, workflow builders, and/or node-based interfaces.
• Design and implement scalable frontend architecture and state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar technologies.
• Build and maintain a reusable component library/design system in collaboration with product designers.
• Develop performant interfaces that remain responsive when working with large datasets, large lists, and complex screens.
• Work with visualization libraries such as D3.js or similar technologies to create interactive and meaningful data experiences.
• Write reliable unit and integration tests using Jest or similar frameworks.
• Build and maintain end-to-end tests using Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Identify and resolve frontend performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure frontend solutions are maintainable, scalable, accessible, and consistent across the application.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and other frontend engineers.
• Contribute to frontend technical decisions, coding standards, architecture, and best practices.

What Were Looking For

Required Experience

• 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals and behavior under the hood, including rendering, reconciliation, component lifecycle, hooks, and performance considerations.
• Proven experience with frontend state management at scale, using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar solutions.
• Experience building complex, data-heavy web applications.
• Experience developing interactive visualizations, dashboards, visual editors, workflow builders, or node-based interfaces.
• Experience designing and maintaining reusable component libraries or design systems.
• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization, particularly with large lists, complex screens, and large datasets.
• Experience writing unit tests with Jest or similar frameworks.
• Experience writing end-to-end tests with Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience with D3.js or other data visualization libraries.
• Experience implementing a design system in collaboration with product designers.
• Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience working on enterprise SaaS or other complex business applications.
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization of React applications.
• Experience with advanced UI patterns such as drag-and-drop, canvas-based interfaces, graph editors, or workflow builders.
