About This Opportunity

Risepoint partners with leading universities to expand access to high-quality online education, and Partner Strategy & Analytics team sits at the center of how those partnerships grow and perform. Were looking for a Strategy & Analytics Manager who can turn complex, full-funnel partner data — from lead generation through yield — into the strategic narrative that shapes how Risepoint invests in and grows its portfolio of partner institutions.

This role is built for someone who thrives at the intersection of rigorous analysis and cross-functional leadership. Youll own analytical workstreams end-to-end, from framing the right question to delivering the insight that moves a decision, while partnering closely with Integrated Marketing, Channel Marketing, Partner Management, and Operations teams. Youll be expected to spot the data quality issue before it becomes a stakeholder problem, build the pipelines that make partner performance monitoring reliable, and use AI-assisted tools like Claude and Databricks Genie to work faster without ever outsourcing your judgment. As the team grows, youll also start building and coaching the analysts around you — this is a role with real room to grow into people leadership.

If you want a seat where your analysis directly informs how a national portfolio of university partnerships is managed and grown, this is that seat.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Youll be the analytical backbone behind partner growth strategy. Your work on enrollment funnel performance — lead gen through yield — will directly shape the conversations and decisions that determine how Risepoint supports long-term partner growth.
  • Youll protect the integrity of the data leadership relies on. By catching errors, discontinuities, and reconciliation gaps before they surface downstream, youll build a level of trust in the numbers that lets stakeholders move faster and with more confidence.
  • Youll build infrastructure that outlasts any single analysis. The pipelines and reporting workflows you design — in partnership with BI and data engineering — will become the foundation partner performance monitoring runs on well beyond your own day-to-day work.
  • Youll set the pace for how the team works. By embedding tools like Claude and Databricks Genie into daily practice, youll help define what an AI-first analytical function actually looks like at Risepoint — faster analysis, sharper communication, same rigor.
  • Youll turn data into decisions. Through the KPIs you establish and the insights you translate into clear recommendations, youll give executives and department heads a direct line from performance data to action.
  • Youll grow the people around you. As the team expands, your coaching and project leadership will shape how new analysts think about partner data — building capability that compounds over time, not just output for the moment.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Cross-Functional Initiative Leadership: Drive and coordinate multi-stakeholder analytical initiatives across departmental boundaries, serving as a thought partner and initiative lead for Integrated Marketing, Channel Marketing, Partner Management Team, and other operations teams; own workstreams end-to-end from problem framing through insight delivery with minimal direction.
  • Strategic Data-Driven Analysis: Handle highly detailed and complex partner performance data across the full enrollment funnel, from lead generation through yield, and facilitate internal stakeholder conversations that build strategies supporting long-term partner growth.
  • Data Quality and Diagnostic Rigor: Proactively surface errors, discontinuities, and reconciliation gaps in partner data before they reach stakeholders, approaching each inconsistency as a signal worth tracing to its source rather than an edge case to dismiss.
  • Analytical Infrastructure: Build and maintain the analytical pipelines and reporting workflows that underpin partner performance monitoring, collaborating with BI and data engineering teams to ensure data access, consistency, and appropriate governance
  • AI-Assisted Productivity: Contribute to Risepoints AI-first analytical practices by incorporating tools like Claude and Databricks Genie into day-to-day workflows to accelerate analysis and communication; AI is a productivity tool here, not a replacement for analytical judgment, and the expectation is full ownership of and accountability for the work product
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management to define analytical strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement across the partner portfolio
  • Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of partner programs and analytical initiatives; surface actionable opportunities from performance data and translate them into recommendations leadership can act on
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate findings and insights to diverse stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and operational teams, through compelling presentations, structured briefings, and data visualizations that connect technical analysis to strategic
  • People Management: Build a strong team with other team members some are expected to report to the Manager eventually by coaching, instructing, and drive projects as a team

What Success Looks Like

  • Analytical Rigor and Intellectual Curiosity: The ability to conceive and execute quantitative analysis independently, pressure-test your own findings, and approach data inconsistencies as questions worth answering.
  • Communication and Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; the ability to translate complex technical findings into strategic recommendations for stakeholders at all levels, including those with no data background, and to drive alignment without direct authority
  • Cross-Functional Mindset: Collaborative instinct and comfort operating across teams; you function as a connector between data infrastructure and business strategy, and you bring a service orientation to stakeholder relationships
  • Structured Thinking Under Ambiguity: You bring frameworks to unstructured problems, communicate your reasoning transparently, and know when to move forward with imperfect information versus when to escalate uncertainty.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and maintain analytical accuracy under time pressure; you validate before you publish and catch discrepancies before they reach stakeholders.

How Impact Will be Measured

  • Partner performance improvement is the ultimate impact measurement. Partner Strategy & Analytics team strives to impact partners by supporting internal stakeholders with data-driven strategic insights and recommendations
  • Trust thought partnership with internal leaders is another key success indicator as a Manager of Strategy & Analytics

Experience That Matters Most

  • 5+ years’ experience in an analytical or strategy leadership role (strategy, business analytics, business operations, corporate finance, business transformation) and/or in a professional services organization (consulting, private equity, investment banking)
  • Strong proficiency in Databricks and advanced SQL, including CTE structuring, query performance optimization, and fundamental window functions, with foundational knowledge of data governance and data engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools like Claude and Databricks Genie, prompt engineering, and natural language query interfaces
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query M for data transformation workflows and DAX for calculated measures.
  • Working experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Demonstrated ability to conceive and execute quantitative analysis and deliver data-driven insights with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree with proven record of achievement and quantitative proficiency

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Proven track record in using Databricks, SQL, AI tools and data analysis to clean data, extract insights, and communicate takeaways to leadership in a professional setting
  • Agile workstyle to meet evolving business needs in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that
  • Masters degree or equivalent experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science is a plus.
