We’re looking for an AI Video Editor who knows how to turn creative briefs into high-performing paid social ads at speed.

This is a hands-on execution role for someone who already works with AI-generated video, UGC-style creatives, direct-response editing, and performance advertising. You’ll work closely with a Senior Creative Strategist, who will provide the angles, scripts, and creative direction. Your job is to turn those briefs into polished, ready-to-launch video ads.

This is not a creative strategy or media buying role.

What You’ll Do

• Create high-performing video ads for Meta, TikTok, and other paid social channels

• Generate AI video, UGC-style footage, product visuals, avatars, and supporting assets using tools such as Higgsfield, Kling, Veo, Seedance, Runway, ElevenLabs, and similar platforms

• Edit raw and AI-generated assets into finished UGC, direct-response, VSL, and short-form ad creatives

• Build multiple hooks, openings, cuts, pacing variations, and creative iterations from the same concept

• Add captions, motion graphics, sound design, B-roll, transitions, product callouts, and other finishing elements

• Work from scripts, references, and detailed creative briefs provided by the Senior Creative Strategist

• Produce multiple high-quality creative variants every week for ongoing testing

• Adapt winning concepts into new versions without losing the core creative strategy

• Maintain a fast, organized production workflow and deliver consistently on deadline

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience producing paid social video ads

• Experience with DTC, e-commerce, direct-response, or performance marketing

• A portfolio containing real ads created for Meta, TikTok, or similar acquisition channels

• Strong experience with AI video generation workflows

• Hands-on experience with Higgsfield is highly preferred

• Experience with tools such as Kling, Veo, Seedance, Runway, HeyGen, ElevenLabs, or similar

• Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or comparable professional editing software

• Experience creating UGC-style ads

• VSL / Video Sales Letter experience is a strong advantage

• Ability to produce and iterate creative at high volume

• Strong understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, CTAs, and conversion-focused editing

• Ability to follow someone else’s creative direction precisely rather than needing to own the strategy yourself

Strong Candidates Typically Have

• Worked as a Video Editor, Performance Video Editor, Paid Social Video Editor, UGC Editor, AI Video Editor, or similar

• Produced hundreds of paid ad creatives or worked in an environment where new ads were shipped every week

• Worked directly with performance marketing teams, media buyers, creative strategists, or growth teams

• Experience working with scaled DTC brands or performance creative agencies

• Used performance feedback and A/B testing insights to create new iterations of existing ads

• A portfolio showing ads that actually ran — not only cinematic, branding, YouTube, or organic social content

This Role Is Probably Not a Fit If

• Most of your experience is traditional filming, videography, VFX, or cinematic production

• Your portfolio is primarily YouTube videos, podcasts, music videos, brand films, or organic social content

• You have little or no experience with paid acquisition creatives

• You have not worked with AI video-generation tools

• You prefer developing the overall creative strategy rather than executing detailed briefs

• You focus on producing one highly polished video over several days instead of creating multiple strong variants quickly

• You want to own media buying or campaign management

What Success Looks Like

Within your first months, you’ll be independently producing a consistent weekly pipeline of new AI-first UGC, VSL, and paid-social ad variants ready for testing, with minimal involvement required from the founder or Senior Creative Strategist in the editing process.
