You will operate at the intersection of frontier AI research, scientific computing, and community engagement, championing NVIDIAs accelerated computing stack across the full research lifecycle, from frameworks and libraries, to foundation model development to domain-specific scientific AI applications.
What Youll Be Doing:
Manage and mentor a team of Developer Relations Managers to cover AI for science (life sciences, physics, robotics, quantum, climate). Set direction, remove blockers, and build a high-trust, high-performance team.
Architect a comprehensive researcher engagement strategy across academic labs, research consortia. Translate NVIDIAs platform roadmap into research-relevant opportunities and ensure NVIDIA remains the platform of choice for frontier research.
Establish positive relationships with PIs, lab directors, research computing leads, and institutional decision-makers. Understand technical needs and institutional dynamics that shape research priorities.
Champion NVIDIAs full research platform, from CUDA libraries to NeMo, BioNeMo, PhysicsNeMo, Earth-2, Omniverse, RAPIDS etc. Helping researchers unlock platform value across both AI model development and scientific discovery workloads.
Develop NVIDIAs presence at major AI and scientific research venues, such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, SC, domain scientific conferences, and drive university engagements, workshops, and lab-facing programs.
Collaborate across Research Account Managers, Solution Architects, Product, Engineering, and Business Development to align ecosystem strategy with global priorities. Translate researcher feedback into actionable product and program insights.
What We Need to See:
PhD in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computational Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
12+ overall years of industry and research experience, including 4+ years managing teams in developer relations, research engagement, or technical partnerships.
Deep technical proficiency across both foundational AI (LLMs, training, post-training, inference) and AI for science (domain AI applications, scientific computing, simulation).
Proven track record to engage senior research stakeholders with credibility and strategic intent.
Strong track record of driving platform adoption through technical enablement, community programs, and cross-functional collaboration in a matrixed environment.
Ways to Stand Out from the crowd:
Research Credibility: Publications, open-source contributions, or direct experience working on leading AI systems or scientific solutions based on AI.
Platform Depth: Hands-on experience with NVIDIA technologies including CUDA, TensorRT-LLM, Dynamo, NeMo, BioNeMo, PhysicsNeMo, Earth-2, Omniverse, RAPIDS, NIM, or GPU-accelerated computing systems.
Research ecosystem network: Established relationships with leading academic labs, research consortia and major open-source research communities.
Scientific Domain Expertise: Depth in one or more priority verticals, such as physics, bioscience, quantum computing etc, with the breadth to engage across domains.
Matrix Navigator: Demonstrated ability to operate independently and drive outcomes across a complex, fast-paced global organization.
