Were looking for a Car Claims Advocate to help us handle high-value bodily injury claims with the care, rigor, and empathy they deserve.

Youll join our Car Claims team as a specialist in injury claims — someone who knows how to move fast without cutting corners, and who can guide customers through some of their most stressful moments with clarity and confidence. In this role youll

• Investigate and process injury claims end-to-end, making sure every decision holds up to both policy standards and state or federal law

• Gather and evaluate police reports, medical records, and witness statements to build a clear, accurate picture of each claim

• Interview claimants, witnesses, and medical providers to assess legitimacy and determine liability

• Set appropriate claim values and negotiate settlements that are fair, defensible, and efficient

• Collaborate with legal counsel and internal teams when claims escalate — keeping everyone aligned and moving forward

• Communicate status and outcomes to all parties with professionalism and genuine empathy

• Stay sharp on industry trends, evolving regulations, and medical terminology so your judgment stays current

What youll need

• 4+ years of injury liability claim-handling experience

• A background managing litigated and attorney-represented files — a strong advantage

• Solid knowledge of insurance laws and regulations

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to connect dots across complex files

• Clear, confident written and verbal communication — no jargon, no runaround

• Comfort working independently while staying closely connected to a collaborative team

• Proficiency with claims management software and Microsoft Office

• A genuine curiosity about technology, and the adaptability to grow with new tools as they evolve

• Empathy, patience, and a positive presence — especially when customers need it most

• A college degree

• Ready to work in a remote environment

Lemonades US base salary range for this full-time position is $72,000 - $94,500 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
