Senior Embedded Software Engineer

Location: Blumenau, SC, Brazil; Hybrid

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the Data Center Power and Control ZPE Systems Team. The engineer will work with the Nodegrid OS team in Blumenau, SC, Brazil, interacting with colleagues from all over the world (mainly USA and India) in a highly collaborative environment. They will develop and maintain a world-class family of products deployed across network infrastructures from hundreds of companies globally, including some of the world’s top tech giants. We’re interested in seeing them, with time, take full ownership of one or more areas of responsibility of the software development team, helping improve the fundamental efficiency and quality of ZPE’s product lines and internal processes.

This role is focused on developing and maintaining embedded Linux-based software for Nodegrid OS, collaborating with global teams to deliver reliable networking and infrastructure solutions. The engineer is responsible for designing and implementing new features, supporting network protocols, maintaining open-source components, developing automated tests, improving internal tools and processes, providing technical expertise across teams, and mentoring junior engineers, while working in a collaborative Agile environment.
