Accountabilities:

The Node.js Developer will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining backend solutions while contributing to technical decisions and delivering high-quality software within distributed teams.

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and modern development practices.
• Design and implement scalable software solutions following solid architecture principles.
• Build and integrate REST APIs to support reliable and efficient digital products.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring effective data management and application performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Participate in technical discussions, contribute ideas, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Contribute to cloud-based solutions and modern infrastructure approaches when required.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a skilled backend developer with experience building scalable applications, strong technical foundations, and the ability to collaborate effectively in remote environments.

• 3+ years of professional experience developing applications with Node.js.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency for communication within international teams.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
• Curiosity, flexibility, and willingness to explore new technologies and approaches.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha or Jest.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS and/or Azure.
• Knowledge of serverless infrastructure and cloud-native development.
