Hi, we’re Gravie. Our mission is to create health benefits that actually benefit small and midsize businesses and their employees. Our innovative benefit solutions and services are developed and delivered by a diverse group of unique people. We encourage you to be your authentic self - we like you that way.

About the Role

Gravie is seeking an AI-forward Director of Corporate IT to lead our corporate technology function.

This leader will own IT operations, employee technology, enterprise business applications, integrations, workflow automation, and AI enablement for internal productivity and corporate operations. They will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and intuitive technology experiences across the company.

The enterprise business applications portfolio includes the internal systems used by functions such as People, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Procurement, and Operations.

This is not a traditional IT leadership role focused primarily on infrastructure, administration, and ticket resolution. We are looking for a proven leader who has already modernized an IT or enterprise technology function through automation, intelligent self-service, AI agents, and integrated business systems.

You Will:

  • Define and execute the strategy and roadmap for corporate IT, integrations, automation, and AI, and establish enterprise standards for business applications.

  • Deliver a secure, reliable, and frictionless employee technology experience while evolving IT from reactive support toward proactive, automated service delivery.

  • Partner with leaders across the company to improve business processes, eliminate manual work, and identify high-value automation and AI opportunities.

  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, governance, and adoption of AI-enabled tools, agents, self-service capabilities, and workflow automation.

  • Ensure AI and automation solutions include appropriate security, privacy, data access, human oversight, monitoring, and accountability.

  • Own the company’s core IT platforms and services, including identity and access management, Google Workspace, endpoint management, networking, collaboration tools, IT service management, and employee lifecycle processes.

  • Partner with business owners to govern the company’s enterprise applications, including HR, finance, accounting, procurement, and other internal corporate systems, while ensuring appropriate integration, security, reliability, lifecycle management, and vendor oversight.

  • Partner with Security to deploy and operate security technologies, enforce access controls, conduct periodic access reviews, support audits, and maintain secure onboarding and offboarding practices.

  • Manage the IT and enterprise applications budget, vendors, licensing, service levels, and performance metrics in alignment with the broader technology strategy.

You Bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in corporate IT and enterprise technology, including at least five years leading teams and cross-functional technology programs.

  • Experience overseeing core IT platforms and services, including identity and access management, endpoint management, collaboration platforms, networking, IT service management, and employee lifecycle processes.

  • A proven record of deploying AI agents, copilots, intelligent automation, self-service capabilities, or AI-enabled support into governed production environments, with meaningful adoption and measurable business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated success using low-code, no-code, integration, or workflow technologies to automate processes across multiple systems and business functions.

  • Experience partnering with business owners to govern internal enterprise applications such as HRIS, ERP, finance and accounting systems, procurement platforms, and business workflow tools.

  • Experience leading enterprise application implementations, migrations, integrations, or optimization programs.

  • Strong understanding of APIs, workflow orchestration, data flows, access controls, and application lifecycle management.

  • Experience partnering with Security to deploy and operate security technologies, manage access controls, conduct access reviews, support audits, and maintain secure onboarding and offboarding processes.

  • Experience managing IT and enterprise application budgets, vendors, contracts, licensing, service levels, and delivery partners.

  • Strong business judgment and the ability to communicate technology strategy, value, risks, and tradeoffs to executive audiences.

  • Demonstrated success leading organizational change and driving adoption of new tools and ways of working.
