Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
In this highly visible role, you will serve as the primary liaison between ITS Enterprise Business Partners and Data & AI teams supporting Enterprise Services functions including Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Communications, Corporate Strategy, and other shared services organizations. The role partners with functional leaders to identify and execute data, analytics, automation, and AI opportunities that improve organizational effectiveness, decision-making, employee experiences, governance, and operational efficiency. ITS Business Partners are dyads with the DAIS business partners and the primary face to the business.
The successful candidate must possess a strong understanding of enterprise business processes and the ability to align Data & AI investments with functional priorities, transformation initiatives, and corporate objectives. The role works across diverse stakeholder groups to develop enterprise-wide solutions that drive standardization, scalability, and measurable business value.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides strategic leadership of overall objectives through the application of thoughtful techniques in the communication of the companys mission and core values to effect positive change and/or create organizational structure within the assigned business unit(s)
- Partners directly with ITS Business Partners, who function as the primary face to the business, and the business directly, to drive strategic priorities through technology enablers
- Creates and analyzes relevant information and develops recommendations that they present to senior management.
- Actively engages in pre-project business solution requirements and partners with Enterprise Architecture, Product Management and CoEs to develop solution concepts and business cases for new investments.
- Identifies, screens, and evaluates new solution opportunities to address unmet (internal and external) customer needs.
- Ensures prioritization of projects, particularly using cost / benefit analysis to proactively manage business demand
- Creates consensus with business units / functions as to the timing of solution introductions and retirements
- Ensures business organization readiness to utilize new solutions and help to maximize the positive impact on the organization
- Identifies opportunities for operational efficiency and brings ideas to appropriate implementation
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and CoE teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards and deliver solutions to meet the business needs
- Collaborates with the Project Management Office on the intake process and prioritization of candidate projects across the company
- Collaborates with the Operational Excellence teams on the intake process and prioritization of enhancement requests
- Builds strong relationships with key business stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of business strategies as well as key business processes and systems
- Takes a proactive role in Service Level Agreement (SLA) negotiations and expectations between business and IT
- Manages extensive matrix interactions with multiple stakeholders across the organization
- Leads operational efforts through subordinates to complete the administration of business processes and services to ensure the operations effective achievement of goals within the assigned business unit(s).
- Directs and oversee the broad activities of the business unit(s) through the interpretation, application and implementation of company-wide policies and procedures relevant to the assigned functional area(s).
- Ensures that budgets and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and the recommendation and implementation of current practices.
- Strategic leader with broad-based knowledge of the business and/or industry with an emphasis on providing strategic solutions to a specific business line and/or division. Has broad decision-making authority within the functional areas.
- Develops strategic plans to ensure successful implementation of action plans and objectives where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company, competitive environment, technology and economic or social implications of organizational activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience supporting Finance, HR, Procurement, Corporate Services, Shared Services, or enterprise transformation organizations.
- Understanding of core enterprise processes such as financial planning and analysis, workforce planning, talent management, employee experience, sourcing, procurement, compliance, and corporate reporting.
- Experience developing business cases and value realization frameworks for enterprise technology, automation, and AI initiatives.
- Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as ERP, HCM, EPM, procurement, and workflow automation solutions.
- Experience identifying opportunities for process optimization, intelligent automation, generative AI enablement, self-service analytics, and enterprise decision support.
- Ability to influence senior functional leaders and align multiple stakeholder priorities while driving enterprise-wide adoption and change management.
ADDITIONAL DOMAIN EXPECTATIONS
- Demonstrated ability to understand complex enterprise operating models and identify opportunities for scale, standardization, and reuse across functions.
- Experience partnering with executive leadership teams to define strategic roadmaps and prioritize investments that improve enterprise performance and employee productivity.
- Strong understanding of organizational, financial, and workforce metrics that inform business planning and operational decision-making.
EDUCATION AND REQUIRED CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors Degree; Advanced Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- 5-10+ years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years experience as a manager; or 5+ years experience in a senior managerial role.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies. Rate: $165,000 - $220,500
