The Lilly USA Tech Team is at the forefront of the launch of new medicines, using data and technology to raise awareness and to help patients gain access to medicines. With a deep technical and business understanding, working across all therapeutic areas and disease states, we design and implement digital solutions that power our business while creating best-in-class customer experiences that improve patient outcomes and deliver business results. This role is a part of our global field solutions team, a central team supporting applications for more than 10,000 sales representatives and other field users worldwide.

As Technical Integrator Lead you will serve as the bridge between business strategy and technical execution, partnering with business collaborators, product teams, platform teams, architects, vendors, and engineering teams to deliver integrated enterprise solutions. This role is responsible for becoming both a functional and technical expert in Employer and Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) capabilities, translating business needs into scalable, secure, and reusable solutions that drive measurable outcomes. As an outcome-oriented leader with a high learning velocity and a builder mentality, the Technical Integrator influences architecture decisions, establishes integration standards, and designs solutions across applications, data ecosystems, platforms, AI-enabled services, and enterprise technologies. The role finds opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and reusable capabilities to improve efficiency, enhance user experiences, and accelerate business value. By guiding solution design, managing cross-system dependencies, and providing technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle, the Technical Integration Lead enables innovative, interoperable, and future-ready technology solutions that support business objectives and platform evolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement integration solutions across enterprise applications, platforms, and data sources.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions and integration designs.

  • Define and promote integration standards, patterns, APIs, and reusable components.

  • Lead technical integration efforts throughout the solution lifecycle, from design through implementation.

  • Coordinate activities across platform and/or product teams, engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders.

  • Identify and run technical dependencies, risks, and integration challenges.

  • Facilitate technical reviews and drive alignment across systems and technology domains.

  • Ensure solutions follow architecture, security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain technical documentation and support operational excellence through monitoring and support readiness.

  • Seek opportunities to improve system interoperability, automation, scalability, and overall platform performance.

  • Provide day-to-day technical direction and mentorship to integration developers, engineers, and delivery partners, fostering consistent technical practices and skill growth across the team.

  • Define, track, and report integration performance metrics and KPIs (e.g., interface reliability, system uptime, throughput, defect rates), communicating status, trends, and risks to leadership through dashboards and structured reviews.

  • Lead the delivery methodology and cadence for integration workstreams, operating within CRM Agile/Scrum or SAFe ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to ensure predictable, transparent, and well-governed delivery.

  • Serve as the functional SME for Employer and FRM capabilities, partnering with business stakeholders to identify process opportunities, define future-state requirements, and prioritize delivery roadmaps.

  • Drive solution design and platform strategy by influencing Veeva CRM configuration designs, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches while partnering with developers and architects to deliver scalable solutions.

  • Own requirements management, backlog prioritization, testing strategy, release readiness, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure successful adoption and ongoing platform optimization.

  • Lead innovation and operational excellence by driving root cause analysis, identifying AI opportunities, and building scalable, reusable AI agents.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or information technology related field

  • 3+ years in Information Technology delivering technology solutions and integrations.

  • Experience providing functional or direct technical direction to developers, engineers, or testers, including mentoring and performance feedback.

  • Experience integrating major enterprise SaaS platforms — for example Workday, Salesforce, SAP, , or Veeva.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automated testing in a regulated release environment.

  • Experience with AI solution design, prompt engineering, and AI-powered support and self-service capabilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry, including work on GxP-validated or SOX-relevant systems.

  • AI Certification such as AWS AI Practitioner or equivalent

  • Understanding integration technologies, data structures, and system interoperability.

  • Experience with digital customer relationship management (CRM) systems, such as Veeva CRM or Salesforce.com

  • Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with cloud platform services (AWS or Azure), identity and access management, SSO and federation, and API management and gateway tooling.

  • Experience working across global teams and time zones, including offshore delivery models.

  • Agile or product-team delivery experience; relevant technical or architecture certification.

  • Experience owning delivery metrics and KPI reporting (e.g., velocity, defect rates, SLA/uptime dashboards) for technical or integration teams.

  • Certification or hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum or SAFe delivery frameworks, including ownership of sprint or release cadences.

  • Expertise in Veeva CRM architecture, security, business rules, and enterprise integrations.

  • Good understanding of APIs, data flows, CI/CD, release governance, environment management, and data migration practices.

  • Knowledge of AI governance, compliance, monitoring, knowledge management, and CRM automation opportunities.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$66,000 - $154,000

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
