As a Technical Application Owner you will join the Global Patient Safety Tech Team, focused on providing innovative safety solutions that improve the lives of patients while maintaining the highest level of compliance. Role Overview
The Technical Application Owner holds day-to-day technical ownership of an assigned set of GPS applications, with additional focus on systems built on the Veeva platform. This role is responsible for the technical expertise for assigned applications: resolving incidents, guiding configuration and development work, and partnering with vendors and technical teams to keep systems stable, secure, and audit ready.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical health of assigned GPS applications, including uptime, performance, and lifecycle management.
Serve as the main technical point of contact for incidents, problems, and escalations tied to owned applications leveraging ITIL practices.
Translate business requirements into technical designs and communicate them clearly to vendors and developers.
Lead configuration, development, and testing activities for system changes, working directly with vendors and product teams.
Coordinate deployment and stabilization of releases, including business testing and adoption support.
Track service performance against SLAs and KPIs, flagging risks and improvement opportunities.
Provide status updates and technical recommendations to business and IT stakeholders.
Your Basic Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
2+ years of experience with the software development life cycle, spanning project initiation through deployment, support, and retirement.
2+ years experience with service delivery, application support, and vendor management

What You Should Bring
Experience with ITIL, , or similar service management practices and tools.
Experience working in a regulated GxP environment; familiarity with software quality assurance methods and techniques.
Understanding of SQL, Oracle, or related database technologies.
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, or automation tooling for support processes.
Experience with Veeva Vault configuration, validation, or administration in a GxP environment.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (CloudFormation, Lambda, Glue, RDS) and implementation of those services in a regulated environment.
Understanding of core networking concepts and Microsoft Azure / Entra ID capabilities (for example, Active Directory, group management, and group policies).
Experience with HP ALM, GitHub, and Jira.
Familiarity with automation tooling, workflow orchestration, or AI enabled support capabilities.
Experience leading teams and a demonstrated ability to broadly influence business and IT leaders across the organization.
Experience supporting enterprise transformation, service standardization, or operating model optimization initiatives.
Location & Work Flexibility
This role is based at our Corporate Center in Indianapolis, IN. We offer a flexible hybrid work model, with three days onsite and two days working remotely each week, supporting both collaboration and work‑life balance.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$66,000 - $154,000Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
