Seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build AI usage-control capabilities across SaaS, desktop, and AI agents, and own enterprise cloud-native microservices. Youll join a fast-growing, values-driven team tackling complex engineering challenges.

In this role you will be:

• Designing advanced security controls to discover and manage shadow AI, GenAI, and AI agents across SaaS and desktop apps.
• Taking ownership of a mission-critical, cloud-native microservice architecture that safeguards millions of workspaces globally, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Developing enforcement capabilities on the endpoint, including OS-level components as part of Akamais endpoint agent.
• Leveraging AI frameworks and tools to build AI-powered security capabilities.
• Working across the stack, from OS-level components to our cloud backend services and React-based management console.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, Product Management, and Security Experts, to rapidly release secure, scalable code multiple times per day.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have at least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Have a bachelors degree in Computer Science, an equivalent technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Be highly proficient in at least one of the following: Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, or Rust.
• Have hands-on experience in data modeling and relational databases.
• Have experience building complex data pipelines and high-throughput architectures, specifically utilizing event-streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Demonstrate experience developing cloud-native microservices using modern cloud vendors (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Have experience building security products or client-side software running on end-user devices.
