Partnerships Manager - South Africa

We’re looking for a South Africa Partnerships Manager to join our Business team to drive new business for the South African territory, from lead generation and prospecting, to deal qualification, pitching, and negotiation.

Reporting directly to executive leadership and supported locally in Cape Town, you’ll grow our footprint by building strong relationships and closing new deals with clubs, key promoters, and event crews across the South African market. As our first local hire on the ground, you will lay the foundation for our South African hub with a clear path toward stepping into the Country Manager role as we scale.

What You Will Do

• Commercial tenacity: Build and manage a sales pipeline across South Africa (focused primarily on Cape Town and key clubbing hubs), maintaining strong CRM hygiene.

• Full ownership of the sales cycle: Drive lead generation, run discovery calls, qualify leads, prepare light product pitches/demos, handle objections, and close deals with high autonomy.

• Build brand culture: Develop deep relationships through online channels and an active, in-person nightlife presence where it matters, partnering with the right crews and tastemakers to establish XCEED as the go-to platform.

• Consistent market presence: Act as our local ambassador on the ground—organizing activations, engaging key nightlife decision-makers, and driving digital sales adoption across the clubbing scene.

• Operational discipline: Keep execution clean through structured follow-ups, accurate notes, and reliable forecasting inputs, working independently without needing daily micromanagement.

• Strong nightlife network: Deep industry access and personal connections within the South African nightlife, clubbing, and music scene.

• Commercial mindset & drive: Natural salesperson with high resilience, hustle, and the ability to turn industry relationships into commercial partnerships.

• Tech-savvy: Comfortable using modern sales tools/CRMs and able to pitch intuitive SaaS and ticketing solutions to partners who are digitizing their operations.

• High reliability & self-starter discipline: Proven ability to manage your time effectively, execute autonomously, and maintain high output without constant oversight.

• Cultural fit: You know where the movement is happening, speak the language of local event organizers, and understand how to build brand authority and local relevance.

• Fluent communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
