Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Team Member to join Benugo Cafe Team at The National Museum of Scotland

The Team Member will consistently deliver the Benugo difference to all customers through providing high quality service & product knowledge whilst applying health & safety practices and standards, and control of stock and wastage levels.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times through efficient communication & up to date product knowledge

• Consistently demonstrate and apply health, safety and hygiene standards

• Maintain high standards of punctuality, attendance and personal presentation

• Support the wider team through proactive teamwork and cooperation

• Actively participate and contribute towards achieving goals

• Maintaining up-to-date and detailed knowledge of the company’s products, services and procedures

● Liaising with your colleagues and peers in a professional manner at all times

● Attending any training and or meetings as required by the company

● Representing the company and yourself in a professional manner

● Taking responsibility for your own personal development at work and striving to be the best in what you do; taking pride in your work

● Participating in performance reviews and actively engaging in discussions around personal performance objectives with relevant line manager/s

● Adhering to all statutory company policies and procedures

About the Team Member role:

Taking orders, serving food and drinks

Ensuring the customers experience is maintained at all times to the highest standard

Ensuring that food safety standards are followed at all times

Experience isn’t essential, as full training will be provided. However, a smile, dedication to exceeding customer expectations, and being a great team player are essential.
