Description
Workana is the largest remote work platform for talents in Latin America, and Workana Premium connects exceptional professionals with leading companies worldwide. We are proud to present the following opportunity with Bastyr University.
Role overview
Bastyr University is looking for a highly technical Webmaster / CMS Specialist to support the health, structure, and day-to-day performance of its web properties. This role is ideal for someone who can work autonomously, communicate clearly, and balance technical execution with practical UX judgment.
As a Webmaster / CMS Specialist, you will act as the person who keeps the website running smoothly across Drupal and WordPress environments. You will implement structural and content updates, build landing pages from UX wireframes, troubleshoot third-party integrations, and keep site performance, responsiveness, and formatting in good shape.
Responsibilities
- Execute structural and content updates on the primary CMS (Drupal) and secondary sites (WordPress).
- Build and format new landing pages based on UX wireframes.
- Troubleshoot and manage third-party code injections, including tracking pixels, Google Tag Manager (GTM), and iframe applications.
- Conduct routine site maintenance, broken link fixes, and mobile responsiveness testing.
- Diagnose and resolve formatting breaks using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Flag risky requests that could damage mobile experience or site quality, then propose a workable solution.
- Use AI tools to support strategy development and execution where helpful.
Requirements
- Strong, verifiable experience managing complex Drupal environments. This is a hard requirement.
- Experience working with WordPress.
- Solid frontend skills, including HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Proven ability to work with third-party tracking and embedded tools such as GTM, pixels, and iframes.
- Comfortable using AI to improve workflow, planning, and execution.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Familiarity with EOS, L10 meetings, and Agile marketing workflows, or willingness to learn them.
Benefits
- Compensation in USD.
- Flexible part-time engagement of approximately 20 hours per week.
- Fully remote collaboration.
