UGC Manager

Department: General

Location: Remote (Turkey)

Employment Type: FullTime

VidRush is an AI-native video production platform that replaces an entire video team with coordinated AI agents.

Creators turn a simple idea into a fully produced, long-form video—research, script, voiceover, visuals, motion graphics, and rendering—in under an hour. No timelines. No editing headaches. Just intent → finished video.

We’re building a new way to create video that feels more like writing than editing, and we’re already seeing strong traction from serious creators and media teams.

If you’re excited about AI, creator tools, and building category-defining products from first principles, you’ll fit right in.

We are looking for a UGC Manager to build and run a network of 40+ creators shipping short-form video every single day — and know, from actually being on these platforms, which formats will work before you brief them.

We’re moving UGC in-house. You’ll start with a small roster and scale it past 40 creators, each posting daily. That’s 2,000+ pieces of content a month. The person who runs this owns one of the largest distribution surfaces in the company.

This is not a coordination job. Anyone can send briefs. We need someone with taste — who can watch a creator’s last ten posts and say exactly why post six worked and post seven didn’t.

What you’ll actually do

  • Recruit and scale the roster

  • Source creators across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts, from raw talent to established micro-creators

  • Own the pipeline end to end: outreach, screening, negotiation, contracting, onboarding

  • Grow from a starting roster to 40+ active creators without letting quality slide as volume climbs

  • Manage churn. Expect to lose creators every quarter and always have a bench ready

Manage creators individually

  • Every creator gets a real relationship, not a template. You know their niche, their audience, their strengths, what they refuse to do on camera

  • Weekly one-to-ones with core creators, structured feedback loops with the rest

  • Handle the unglamorous parts: payouts, performance conversations, offboarding people who aren’t working out

Own the format and hook library

  • Maintain a living swipe file of what’s working right now — not last quarter

  • Turn winning formats into briefs creators can execute without hand-holding

  • Kill formats the moment they fatigue. Most do within weeks

Run quality control at volume

  • Build a QC system that scales. At 2,000 posts a month you cannot watch everything — design the sampling, the scorecards, and the escalation rules

  • Set the bar, then defend it

Close the loop on performance

  • Report weekly on what’s working by creator, format and hook

  • Feed winners into paid as whitelisted creative

Who this is for

You live on these platforms. Not “I use TikTok.” You know which sounds are peaking this week, which hook structures are burnt out, what the algorithm is currently rewarding, and why. You’ve probably got your own account with real numbers on it.
You’ve got consumer tech instincts. You follow product launches, you understand how software gets marketed to creators and founders, and you can tell the difference between content that gets views and content that gets signups.
You’ve managed creators at scale. 15+ concurrently, ideally more. You know that managing 40 people is a fundamentally different job from managing 10, and you’ve got opinions about how to systemise it.
You’re operator-brained. You build systems, not one-off solutions. When something breaks twice you fix the process, not the instance.
You can give hard feedback kindly. Telling a creator their last five posts underperformed is a weekly conversation in this role.

Requirements

  • 2+ years running creator, influencer or UGC programmes

  • Demonstrable command of TikTok and Instagram short-form: formats, hooks, trends, platform mechanics

  • Experience in consumer tech, SaaS or a creator-economy product

  • Comfortable with analytics — you can read a performance dashboard and change your plan because of it

  • Fluent written English; the whole role runs on clear briefs and clear feedback

  • Working hours with meaningful overlap to CET

Nice to have

  • You’ve built a creator programme from zero rather than inheriting one

  • You’ve run affiliate or commission-based creator comp, not just flat retainers

  • You’ve edited short-form yourself and can diagnose a video technically, not just directionally

  • Experience with whitelisting / Spark Ads

What we offer

  • Full ownership of the creator function. You’re building it, not inheriting someone else’s system

  • Direct line to growth leadership. No layers between you and the decisions

  • Budget to build a real roster and a real creator comp model
