Who you are

Youre building a career in recruiting and sourcing is where you want to spend most of your time. You care about the craft of finding great candidates that other recruiters miss and getting them into a real conversation. Youre curious, creative, and comfortable going beyond LinkedIn. AI tools like Juicebox, Claude, and purpose built recruiting platforms are already a core part of how you work, or youre eager to make them so. Youre also organized, detail oriented, and someone people can count on when its coordination time, because you know that how someone is treated during the process shapes whether they say yes to an offer and how they talk about Vesta afterward.

About the role

This role has two sides. Sourcing across our open roles is where youll spend most of your time. Recruiting coordination and candidate experience is a meaningful part of the role too, and how you learn the full lifecycle of recruiting from the inside out.

Sourcing

• Source like its 2026. Juicebox and other AI sourcing platforms are a daily part of how you work. Search on natural language, surface non obvious profiles, and cut research time so more of your energy goes into the candidate conversation.

• Find talent other recruiters miss. Go beyond LinkedIn. Bring a fresh angle to every req and get better at it as you go.

• Write outreach that gets responses. Specific, human, and tailored, not a template blasted at a hundred people. Use Claude and ChatGPT to personalize at scale, but never at the cost of specificity. The bar is that a candidate can tell you actually spent time on them.

• Get calibrated fast with hiring managers. You cant find great until you know what great is, and hiring managers wont feel confident in your pipeline until youve been in the trenches with them a few times.

Recruiting coordination and candidate experience

• Own how candidates experience Vesta. From the first message through their first day, youre the connective tissue that makes our process feel considered rather than chaotic. Every touchpoint a candidate sees is one you shape.

• Keep the recruiting machine running. When the team is moving fast, youre the reason nothing drops.

• Bring craft to the details. A well written confirmation, a smart interview panel arrangement, a clean debrief packet. The specifics separate a good recruiting operation from a great one.

Across both

• Use AI across the whole role. Beyond sourcing, lean on Claude and ChatGPT to draft communications, summarize interviews, clean data, and cut the mechanical work down. The goal is more of your time on the moments that need real judgment. Keep raising your own bar here as new tools come out.

• Grow into your path. Youll get real exposure to sourcing and coordination from day one. Over time, well partner with you on where you want to specialize (technical recruiter, dedicated sourcer, or GTM recruiter) and shape the role to lean in that direction.

• Hold the bar. Whether youre writing an outreach message or scheduling an interview, treat it like it matters, because it does.

• 1 to 3 years of sourcing, recruiting coordination, or related recruiting experience, ideally at a tech or growing company

• Familiarity with an ATS (Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, or comparable) and modern sourcing tools

• Active daily user of Claude, ChatGPT, or comparable in your workflow

• Strong written communication, especially for candidate facing outreach and email

• High personal bar for quality in the details and in who moves through the funnel

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $90,000 - $115,000/yr. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
