We are seeking an experienced Workday Integrations Developer IN MEXICO, to design, build, enhance, and support enterprise integrations between Workday and internal/external systems. This role will be responsible for developing scalable and secure integrations across Finance, HCM, Procurement, Payroll, CRM, and other enterprise applications using Workday integration technologies and middleware platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday integration tools, API development, data transformation, troubleshooting, and integration architecture. The developer will partner closely with Functional, HR, Finance, Enterprise Applications, and Infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and automated business solutions

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Integration Development

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using:

    • EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder)

    • Core Connectors

    • Studio

    • Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST)

    • Workday Extend (preferred)

    • Workday Prism Analytics (preferred)

  • Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party applications.

  • Build integrations utilizing middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or equivalent integration platforms.

  • Create scalable data transformation and orchestration solutions.

  1. Interface Design & Architecture

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration designs.

  • Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.

  • Develop API-based integration solutions using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSLT.

  • Ensure integrations follow enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards.

  1. Support & Operations

  • Monitor integration health and proactively identify issues.

  • Troubleshoot integration failures and resolve production incidents.

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end business processes.

  1. Data & Security

  • Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance requirements are met.

  • Manage Workday security domains and integration system users as required.

  • Implement error handling, logging, auditing, and notification mechanisms.

  1. Collaboration

  • Partner with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and external vendors on integration initiatives.

  • Participate in requirement gathering, solution reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

  • Support Workday releases and regression testing efforts.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

  1. Experience

  • 4+ years of experience developing Workday integrations.

  • 2+ years of experience with middleware technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, or similar platforms.

  • Experience implementing enterprise application integrations in large-scale environments.

  1. Technical Skills

  • Workday Studio

  • EIB

  • Core Connectors

  • Workday Web Services (SOAP & REST APIs)

  • XML, XSLT, JSON

  • REST APIs

  • SOAP APIs

  • SFTP/File-based integrations

  • SQL and data analysis skills

  • Version control systems (Git preferred)

  1. Integration Knowledge

Experience integrating Workday with systems such as:

  • Salesforce

  • Active Directory/Azure AD

  • Payroll providers

  • Benefits providers

  • Financial systems

  • Data warehouses and reporting platforms

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday Pro Certification(s)

  • Workday Studio Certification

  • Workday Extend experience

  • Workday Prism Analytics experience

  • MuleSoft Developer Certification

  • Experience with cloud-native integrations and event-driven architectures

  • Experience supporting both HCM and Financials domains
