Electrical Engineer - Wire & Cable

Location: Melville, NY, United States

The candidate would be responsible for project managing New Work Certification and Follow-Up Service related projects for the wire and cable business, specifically telecommunications cables. Heavy customer interaction is involved and would include email, teams calls and phone. Strong communication, collaboration and organizations skills are critical. Candidate is expected to work independently, self-manage and prioritize projects based on the estimated completion dates provided to our customers. The candidate would also support our sales function in the preparation of quotes. The candidate would also be required to work with customers on the resolution of follow up sample testing non conformances identified as part of the ULs mark integrity program. The candidate may also be asked to participate in special developmental projects, lean operational efficiency projects and finally principal engineer related technical projects.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in Melville, NY.
