Engagement Manager

About the opportunity

Drive cross-functional software QA and engineering delivery across two parallel workstreams to keep projects on schedule, on scope, and audit-ready. About our client Our client is preparing two AI-driven platforms for enterprise readiness, with a focus on security, correctness, and financial integrity ahead of a production launch.

What youll do

• Coordinate both pods against the ~12-week schedule; hold kickoff, keep the plan honest, and manage dependencies.

• Run a weekly working session and a short weekly written status with the client counterpart for each app.

• Keep defect flow, trackers (GitHub Issues; Linear/Jira), and the freeze-audit CI gate visible and moving.

• Manage access, credential, and environment dependencies; move dates rather than compress work when dependencies slip, and flag issues early.

• Prepare the consolidated readiness summary and findings hand-off that feeds the separate Executive Review.

• Escalate risks — including the Persona-readiness dependency — clearly and early.

   

What you bring (must-haves)

• Delivery / project management experience on software QA, testing, or engineering engagements.

• Comfort coordinating technical work across parallel teams and translating status for a client audience.

• Fluency with issue trackers (GitHub Issues, Linear, Jira) and CI-based workflows.

• Excellent written and spoken English; calm, clear client communication.

• Strong dependency and risk management instincts.

 

Bonus points for (nice-to-haves)

• Background running nearshore or distributed delivery teams.

• Exposure to security or real-money/fintech engagements.

• Familiarity with gated go/no-go and evidence-based acceptance.
