Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Drywall Hangers / Painters for projects located in or around Eugene, OR. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $20-$28/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Cut, hang, install, and repair drywall
• Perform drywall taping, mudding, patching, and finishing
• Skim coat and sand drywall to achieve smooth, professional finishes
• Apply hand and machine textures
• Match existing drywall textures during repairs and restoration projects
• Prepare drywall surfaces for painting
• Perform interior and exterior painting using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Complete surface preparation, masking, caulking, sanding, and staining
• Safely move and protect customer furnishings and belongings as needed
• Calculate material and supply requirements for projects
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Communicate effectively with project managers and team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional drywall and painting experience
• Strong drywall installation and repair skills
• Experience with taping, mudding, patching, skimming, sanding, and finishing
• Experience with hand and machine-applied textures
• Ability to match existing textures and produce professional-quality finishes
• Experience with interior and exterior painting
• Proficiency with brush, roller, and spray applications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
