DESTIN - Restaurant Cleaning (& basic maintenance) Technician

Location: Pensacola, FL

TEL Staffing is looking for a Restaurant Cleaning (& basic maintenance) Technician to work full-time at a fast-paced restaurant in Destin FL.

JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a RELIABLE and DEPENDABLE full-time Restaurant Cleaning (& basic maintenance) Technician to handle basic repairs and cleaning within our busy restaurant, in order to ensure a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment for both our customers, and our employees. This role combines both janitorial duties with light maintenance duties. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine cleaning of floors, restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces
• ​​​​Conduct minor repairs on restaurant equipment, fixtures, and furniture (chairs, tables, etc.)
• Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and providing touch-ups & basic repairs
• Keep maintenance and cleaning supplies stocked & organized
• Perform regular inspections of the facility
• Ensure all work meets safety and health standards
• Report and/or fix issues as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have previous cleaning (& basic maintenance) experience
• Must have at least a basic knowledge of general repairs and upkeep
• Must have the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be reliable & dependable
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must be able to manage your time efficiently

PAY:

Starts at $18 - 20/hr. (depending on current level of experience)

SCHEDULE:

• Full-time ... 40 hrs a week
• 5 days a week (Mon, Wed, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday)
• Approximately 8am to 5pm (some flexibility on exact start and stop time)
• MUST be able to work BOTH weekdays AND weekends
