Shopify Developer & CRO Specialist

Job Summary
We’re looking for an experienced Shopify Developer / CRO Specialist to manage, optimize, and continuously improve a high-performing ecommerce storefront.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Shopify, Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a solid understanding of ecommerce analytics, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).

You’ll work closely with marketing and design teams to launch new pages and campaigns while using tools such as GA4, heatmaps, and session recordings to identify opportunities for improving conversion rates, AOV, add-to-cart rate, site speed, and overall performance.

Core Tasks:

• Manage and maintain the Shopify storefront, themes, apps, and site functionality
• Help to manage and optimize Reddit, TikTok Shop, Google, and other listings
• Build and implement Shopify theme updates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Run A/B tests across landing pages, product pages, cart, and checkout flows
• Analyze site performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates
• Implement CRO improvements based on user behavior, analytics, and test results
• Monitor key ecommerce metrics including conversion rate, AOV, and add-to-cart rate
• Troubleshoot technical issues affecting site performance or customer experience
• Partner with marketing and design teams to launch new pages and campaigns

Must Have:

• 5+ years experience managing and developing Shopify websites
• Proficiency with Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience running A/B tests and measuring experiment performance
• Strong understanding of ecommerce conversion rate optimization principles
• Experience with GA4 and ecommerce analytics or reporting tools
• Ability to identify and resolve Shopify theme, app, and site performance issues
• Experience optimizing product pages, landing pages, cart, and checkout funnels
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to work full-time EST

Nice to Have:

• Experience with heatmaps and session tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity
• Experience improving site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance
• Basic UX/UI knowledge and experience working directly from Figma designs
• Experience working with high-growth DTC or ecommerce brands
