Client Relations Associate (Energy)

Core Tasks:

• Act as the first point of contact with prospective clients and partners
• Assist the team with all administrative tasks from into call to close
• Clearly explain the company’s services and value proposition to prospective partners
• Qualify opportunities based on potential, strategic fit, timing, and client needs
• Schedule introductory and discovery calls for senior members of the commercial team
• Maintain consistent follow-up throughout longer and more complex sales cycles
• Prepare prospect briefs, meeting notes, and internal opportunity summaries
• Keep accurate records of outreach, conversations, opportunities, and next steps
• Support conference outreach and other business development initiatives as needed

Must Have:

• 3+ years of experience in an originations, sales, business development, finance role (energy sector preferred)
• Strong (C-level) written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong sales, origination, or client-facing experience
• Ability to communicate confidently and professionally with senior decision-makers
• Ability to explain complex ideas in simple and persuasive language
• Strong research skills and the ability to learn new industries quickly
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and pipeline management skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Ability to work full-time EST hours

Nice to Have:

• Experience in finance, energy, commodities, renewables, or battery storage
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and outbound prospecting tools
• Bachelor’s in business, finance, economics, marketing, or a related field
