  • Translate business objectives into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Lead product discovery efforts, including process analysis, workflow design, and feature validation

  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to align requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes

  • Define and document product functionality, workflows, and business rules

  • Ensure solutions address both current needs and long-term scalability requirements

Product Delivery and Execution

  • Own and maintain product backlogs, ensuring priorities are clearly communicated and development-ready

  • Partner with engineering and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle

  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and release planning activities

  • Make informed trade-off decisions that balance scope, timelines, quality, and business value

  • Validate completed work against requirements and acceptance criteria

  • Support successful product launches and adoption initiatives

Product Performance and Continuous Improvement

  • Define, monitor, and report on product KPIs and success metrics

  • Analyze product usage, customer feedback, and operational performance to identify improvement opportunities

  • Drive continuous enhancement of product capabilities based on data-driven insights

  • Partner with stakeholders to assess product effectiveness and business outcomes

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies relevant to SmartLight’s business

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a related product leadership role within a B2B SaaS, healthcare technology, or enterprise software environment

  • Demonstrated experience owning product roadmaps and delivering customer-facing software solutions

  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, agile development practices, and software delivery processes

  • Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into actionable product specifications

  • Proven ability to prioritize competing requests and make data-driven decisions
