Senior IT Network and Cybersecurity Administrator

SSS is looking for a Senior IT Network & Cybersecurity Administrator to lead and enhance our enterprise network infrastructure and cybersecurity operations, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT environments across on-premises and cloud platforms. The vacancy will offshore based in favor of Samir Group

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure: LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing (OSPF, BGP, static), Layer 2/3 switching, network segmentation, and firewall security (rules, policies, VPN).

• Administer and optimize Microsoft Azure and AWS environments: virtual machines, networking, identity management (Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access), IAM, security groups, and access policies.

• Manage Microsoft Intune for device compliance, application deployment, and security configuration.

• Lead cybersecurity operations: firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessments, incident response, and security risk management.

• Manage Microsoft Exchange (Online and On-Premises): mail flow, archiving, and protection against phishing and malware.

• Support IP Telephony, SIP, and QoS.

• Maintain security documentation, network diagrams, policies, and compliance requirements.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT team members.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years in network administration and cybersecurity roles.

• Hands-on experience with:

• Azure: Entra ID, VMs, networking, MFA, Conditional Access.

• AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Security Groups.

• Intune and endpoint management.

• Enterprise firewalls and network security.

• VLAN, routing, switching, LAN/WAN.

• Exchange administration.

• Practical experience with Sophos, Mimecast, endpoint protection platforms, and security awareness platforms (KnowBe4 or equivalent).

• Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.

• Plus: website administration and CMS platforms.

Preferred Certifications: CCNP, AZ-104, AZ-500, AWS Solutions Architect / Security Specialty, CEH / CISSP, Sophos or Mimecast certification.
