B2 Fraud Decision Maker - Social Security Scotland

Social Security Scotland is looking for an individual to join the Fraud and Error Resolution Unit (FERU) as a Fraud Decision Maker.

Do you have experience in undertaking complex benefit decision making, particularly in relation to Adult Disability Payment? Do you have a proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders in a changing environment and contribute to overcoming challenges? If so, this permanent opportunity for a B2 Fraud Decision Maker could be for you.

As a Fraud Decision Maker within the Error and Insights Branch, you will play an important role in protecting the integrity of Scotlands social security system. Working within a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will apply your decision-making expertise to assess complex evidence and make fair, consistent and legally robust entitlement decisions. 

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the safeguarding of public funds while ensuring individuals receive the correct entitlement in line with legislation and policy intent. 

The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, be comfortable in a changing environment, and enjoy working collaboratively to identify opportunities for improvements, exploring new ideas and solutions.
