B1 - Temporary Promotion - Finance Officer (5027) - Social Security Scotland

We are seeking two enthusiastic new team members to join the Financial Planning and Corporate Reporting branches of Social Security Scotland’s Corporate Finance unit as a B1 Finance Officer, on a Temporary Promotion or Temporary level transfer basis. 

In this role you’ll have many opportunities to work on varied activities, with a range of stakeholders, and will be fully supported in developing your skills and career. This is an excellent opportunity to work in an environment that is always looking for ways to continually improve their service to our clients.

You will review and update financial forecasts to support decisions by senior leadership on strategic investment decisions and budget allocations. This will involve working closely with range of stakeholders across the organisation to ensure forecasts are robust & reliable. Our work is fast-paced and often involves working to deadlines & prioritising multiple tasks.
