B1 Intelligence Officer - Social Security Scotland

We are seeking two new colleagues to join our Intelligence Team in Glasgow, which is based within Social Security Scotland’s Fraud and Error Resolution Unit (FERU).

As an Intelligence Officer you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding valuable Counter Fraud information. You will develop a wide range of knowledge of all Social Security Scotland’s benefits and be involved in the first step of our Counter Fraud process. This includes assessing, developing, corroborating, and disseminating information from multiple sources to relevant stakeholders, including working closely with colleagues across Social Security Scotland and the wider Counter Fraud community.

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate an ability for sound and consistent evidence-based decision making. You will be flexible within your role, comfortable in a changing environment, and enjoy working collaboratively to identify opportunities for improvements, exploring new ideas and solutions.
