What youll be doing

As our Finance Operations Specialist, you’ll be the person who ensures the smooth daily operativity of the finance team through process execution, automation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Heres what that looks like in practice:

• Process Automation & Scripting - Identify, develop, and implement solutions to enhance financial workflows, actively writing and maintaining Python scripts to automate routine tasks and increase daily efficiency.

• Strategic Support - Collaborate with the Finance Team and other stakeholders to support new projects, ensuring operational alignment with tax, accounting, and treasury guidelines.

• Data Analysis & Engineering - Conduct detailed data analysis and reporting using programming skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data for treasury process optimization.

• Cross-functional Collaboration - Work effectively across departments (including Tech and Data teams) to ensure smooth financial workflows and clear stakeholder communication.

Who were looking for

This role needs someone who is a problem-solver who loves teamwork, gets things done, and is ready for real ownership.

• Background - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Experience - 3+ years of hands-on experience in finance operations, accounting, or tech-driven process optimization.

• Technical Proficiency - Solid, proven experience with Python and scripting applied to data manipulation, automation, or API integrations.

• Financial Systems Knowledge - Good understanding of accounting principles, ERP systems, and financial process workflows to bridge finance and technology.

• Core Skills - Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Language Proficiency - Fluent in English and Italian.
