Job Description

Internships within Lifecycle Services (LCS) provide unique opportunities to develop your engineering, analytical, and customer-centric skills.

As a Remote Support Intern you will...

• Shadow Rockwell Automation engineers as they assist customers with troubleshooting issues with Rockwell technology through telephone or Web-ex
• Learn Rockwell Automation technology concepts to allow you to help engineers duplicate customer issues
• Help respond to escalations arising from calls and emails
• Program automation devices to simulate real-life work applications to enhance learning
• Wire electrical devices and learn electrical engineering concepts

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Active enrollment in a four year or advanced degree program at an accredited university
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• demonstrated through various experiences (e.g., internships, coursework, projects, or volunteer work)
• Effective organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse groups, including clients, peers, and managers
• Creativity, self-confidence, and adaptability

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

For this role, the hourly compensation is from $20- $32. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
