Description

We are looking for experienced Bilingual Collections Specialists in Colombia and Mexico to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for a collections professional who is confident handling difficult conversations, negotiating payment arrangements, and working toward measurable performance goals while maintaining a professional and compliant customer experience.

We are particularly interested in candidates with BPO or contact center collections experience, especially those with third-party collections experience and a strong understanding of FDCPA and collections compliance requirements.

What Youll Do

• Handle inbound and outbound collections calls professionally and efficiently
• Contact customers regarding delinquent accounts and work toward appropriate resolutions
• Negotiate payment arrangements in accordance with established guidelines
• Handle objections, resistance, and difficult customer conversations professionally
• Maintain consistent and appropriate follow-up with customers
• Accurately document account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates
• Follow all applicable collections policies and compliance requirements
• Maintain customer confidentiality and protect sensitive account information
• Work toward individual and team collections performance targets
• Deliver a professional customer experience while working toward account resolution

Compensation & Contract Structure

• $260-$270 USD per week
• Paid weekly, in arrears
• Performance-based commission opportunities
• Independent Contractor arrangement

• At least 1 year of BPO, contact center, or professional collections experience
• Experience handling inbound and outbound collections calls
• Experience handling delinquent or past-due accounts
• Experience negotiating payment arrangements or resolving outstanding balances
• Knowledge of FDCPA and U.S. collections compliance requirements
• Fluent English communication skills
• Fluent Spanish communication skills
• Experience working toward individual or team collections KPIs
• Third-party collections experience is preferred
• Previous remote or work-from-home experience is preferred
• Must be permanently located in Mexico or Colombia
• Must have the equipment and internet connection required for reliable remote work
