Salary: R29 000 – R32 000 per month

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Credit Control Specialist for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

Role overview

Remote Recruitment places South African talent with UK employers, and this is a full-time, 100% remote position working UK business hours. In this role, you will own the collection of overdue invoices and keep a UK clients cash flowing. You will join a friendly team, work with clear processes, and have the support you need to do your best work from home.

Key responsibilities

• Chase overdue invoices by email and phone in a professional, firm tone
• Agree payment plans and log every promise to pay
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve disputes with sales and finance
• Update the ageing report weekly and flag high-risk accounts
• Allocate incoming payments accurately in the accounting system

What youll need

• Experience in credit control or collections, with examples of reducing overdue balances
• Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
• Confident, polite phone and email manner
• A reliable laptop, stable fibre internet and a quiet workspace
• Availability for 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)

Nice to have

• Experience with UK VAT and payment terms
• Familiarity with Dext or GoCardless
• Experience with ageing reports in Excel
