Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technology strategy of a fast-growing international crypto iGaming group. Reporting directly to the COO and Board, you will define the companys technical vision, oversee engineering, infrastructure, blockchain, security, and product delivery, and play a key role in driving innovation and scalability across multiple brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the groups technology strategy and long-term roadmap.

• Lead engineering, platform architecture, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and security functions.

• Oversee blockchain infrastructure, crypto wallets, payment systems, and digital asset integrations.

• Ensure highly scalable, secure, and high-performing platforms with excellent uptime and reliability.

• Drive engineering best practices, CI/CD, automation, QA, and continuous improvement.

• Manage third-party technology providers, integrations, and strategic partnerships.

• Lead enterprise IT, internal systems, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing global engineering teams.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Payments, Risk, Operations, and senior leadership to align technology with business objectives.

• Report regularly to the Board on technology performance, investment, risks, and future initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or senior technology leader within iGaming, betting, fintech, payments, or a similar high-scale environment.

• Strong background in modern software architecture, microservices, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and distributed systems.

• Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, crypto payments, wallet infrastructure, and security best practices.

• Strong commercial mindset with experience evaluating build vs. buy decisions and managing technology vendors.

• Experience leading large engineering organisations through periods of growth, transformation, or restructuring.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
