Job Description Summary:

The expected base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 annually.

Job Description:

As a Processor, you are the center of the operation. Your primary focus is the swift transition from the VP sale to the UW submission then ultimately to CTC and submission to closing. You will process the file to satisfy investors and GR UW guidelines, while working with the rest of the team to communicate with the borrower and other interested parties to ensure a transparent loan process. You are responsible for keeping everything together by following up, restating expectations, and tracking important dates and orders, all within your expected Time to Task.

Can be Remote in the Charlotte Area
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Note VP directives and review all details of loan file
  • Request, retrieve and review all borrower supporting documents and follow up with borrower as necessary
  • Collect application fee upon receipt of signed disclosures and borrowers intent to proceed
  • Process remaining third party orders
  • Update Encompass and re-run AUS as necessary to ensure approvability
  • Organize the file for complete and proper UW submission, anticipating all potential company and investor requirements, and submit file with intent of Clear to Close
  • Once approved, prepare and send the initial/conditional Loan Commitment Letter to the borrower and upload to the EFolder
  • Work with borrower or third parties to clear conditions and submit back to UW to obtain CTC
  • Once CTC, prep file for clean submission to closing
  • Review CD with Closing Coordinator and confirm it is accurate
  • Confirm timely loan closing
  • Confirm loan funding


Skills and Competencies

  • Must utilize Encompass, Outlook and YBR
  • Organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency and ability to adopt key technology tools are critical to the success of this role.
  • Product knowledge and underwriting guideline proficiency required.
  • Customer service and communication skills essential to provide best in class customer service.
