Manager, Pharma & Diagnostic Solutions Proposals (Remote)

Job Description

This position is responsible for partnering with business development and operations staff to create proposals for new potential work to be performed by the Pharma and Diagnostic solutions team.


Responsibilities:

• Partner with Client, BD, and operations team to create proposals to support new projects
• Create new processes and practices to optimize and grow the biopharma and diagnostic services division
• Create financial models for considered work and partner with finance to gain approvals
• Lead solution development for potential work being contemplated including scheduling meetings with appropriate internal stakeholders and securing their approvals/disapprovals for potential work.
• Prepare and produce relevant business proposal reports to understand and project future work volumes.
• Identify insights into internal work flows and sponsor requested work to optimize the contemplated work
• May lead client governance interactions for select clients.

Qualifications:

Required Work Experience:

10+ years of experience in laboratory, biopharma, and or diagnostic industry in a client facing operational role and/or a sales role

 

Preferred Work Experience:

5+ years of experience in a similar role in a contract research organization.

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:

Office work and periodic travel

 

Knowledge:

Highly Skilled user of Microsoft Office suite and other computer-based applications.

 

Skills:

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Quantitatively inclined Strong/expert communications

 

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
• Master’s Degree (Preferred)
