Platform Test Automation Engineer

Location: Canada; Hybrid

The Ethernet and Optics Platform team is responsible for qualifying components and related features of the leading edge data centre, enterprise and CSP family of products. We are required to design, develop, automate and execute sophisticated tests to verify the conformance of features and their functionality implemented by Engineering against requirements specifications laid out by Product Management. We are responsible for driving the features to completion and will therefore have to interact extensively with Software, Hardware, Firmware and Product Management teams. Our team is the reason why Nokia has a reputation for quality. 

 

This is a great opportunity to contribute to Nokia’s industry-leading IP Routing platforms. As a valued member of the Ethernet and Optics Platform team, you will help develop and execute automated test cases that validate new hardware and software features in Nokia’s high-capacity routers. Working hands-on with prototype equipment and real network scenarios, you’ll gain practical experience configuring routers and testing innovative technologies. You’ll also benefit from one-on-one engineering mentorship while collaborating with developers and testers to ensure product excellence.
