The Role

Were looking for a Practice Marketing Project Manager to give our Practice Marketing team the project management muscle it needs to grow. Right now, the teams own bandwidth is the ceiling on how many accounts we can service well — this role raises that ceiling.

Youll keep our top accounts on track, hold timelines and deliverables accountable, and free up our Practice Marketing Managers to spend their time on strategy and client relationships instead of chasing tasks. Youll also be stepping into the role of process-builder for the department — the systems and templates you create wont just serve todays accounts, theyll become the backbone the team scales on as Moxie takes on more clients.

This is a foundational hire for the team: half the job is running todays accounts cleanly, and half is building the infrastructure that lets Practice Marketing grow without sacrificing quality.

Our Objectives for the Role

• Bring full visibility to our top accounts by standing up a project tracking system and owning status reporting, so timelines, deliverables, and owners are always clear — without a manager needing to chase for updates

• Build and roll out a standardized project plan template that every new account runs on, so onboarding and delivery are consistent across the whole department

• Measurably improve delivery performance by reducing missed deadlines and late deliverables across top accounts, with a clear before-and-after tied to account retention

• Stand up a capacity planning process that shows the teams real workload, so leadership always knows when theres room to take on a new account

• Grow into a trusted operator who brings data-backed recommendations to leadership and takes on a piece of account load independently — positioning this role for growth into a Senior Project Manager or team lead track

If things go even better than expected, you become the reason our top accounts run without fire drills — and the model we point to as we open new markets and bring on new clients.

Were Looking For

• A systems builder, not just a tracker. You dont just maintain a project tracker — youve built one from scratch, templated a process, or standardized a workflow that other people then adopted.

• Comfort owning accountability without owning the relationship. You can hold timelines and deliverables firm with marketing managers and clients without being the strategic or client-facing lead yourself.

• A bias toward visibility. You default to making status, risk, and ownership obvious to everyone — not just tracked in your own head or inbox.

• Judgment on when to flag versus when to solve. You can tell the difference between a risk that needs to be escalated now and one you can quietly resolve yourself.

• Early-career hunger for ownership. You want a role that stretches past coordinate the calendar and are motivated by building something that outlasts you.
