Location: UK-based, with travel across the UK & Ireland and occasional international travel
Working pattern: Full-time. Part-time arrangements may be considered.

What are we looking for?
MDClone is looking for a senior NHS and healthcare data leader to help expand our work across the UK and Ireland.
Following our recently announced partnership with Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, we are building on this momentum by developing new relationships, progressing opportunities and strengthening MDClone’s position across the healthcare system.
Working closely with the Director of Commercial Partnerships, the Health System Partnerships Lead will take responsibility for an agreed portfolio of priority organisations and opportunities. They will bring senior NHS credibility, healthcare data experience and the commercial judgement to turn interest in MDClone into partnerships and new business.
Your responsibilities will include
- Work with the Director of Commercial Partnerships to deliver MDClone’s growth plans across the UK and Ireland.
- Build trusted relationships with senior leaders across NHS trusts, integrated care boards, national bodies, universities and research organisations.
- Progress an agreed portfolio of organisations and opportunities by developing senior sponsorship and navigating funding, procurement and decision-making processes.
- Work with Customer Success to share and amplify customer-led examples of improvement, research and safer collaboration.
- Coordinate MDClone colleagues to support customer engagement, proposals, negotiations and contracting.
- Develop strategic partnerships that create customer opportunities, provide routes to market or support research and collaboration.
- Represent MDClone at senior meetings and industry events, maintain accurate opportunity information and provide clear market feedback.

Requirements
Academic and professional requirements
- At least ten years of relevant senior experience across the NHS, healthcare data, healthcare technology, research and innovation, strategic partnerships or business development.
- Significant experience of healthcare data, analytics, research or data-enabled clinical and operational improvement.
- A strong understanding of NHS structures across the whole of the UK, priorities, funding, procurement and decision-making.
- Experience of the Irish healthcare system would be advantageous.
- Established relationships with senior leaders across relevant parts of the UK healthcare system.
- A track record of turning complex relationships and opportunities into funded programmes, partnerships or commercial agreements.
- Experience navigating decisions involving clinical, digital, data, research, finance, procurement and executive stakeholders.
