Responsibilities

Millennum Corporation is seeking a Technical Director to work in a fully remote capacity The candidate must have an active secret clearance. 

 

The Technical Director provides senior technical and programmatic leadership for complex U.S. Army and Department of Defense (DoD) information technology, networking, communications, and instrumentation programs. The Technical Director is responsible for providing technical direction, operational oversight, and execution leadership across multiple concurrent, geographically dispersed program activities.

 

Duties- 

 

• Provide senior technical and operational leadership for U.S. Army and DoD IT, network, communications, instrumentation, and related technology programs.
• Direct the execution of complex, multi-site program activities, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, technical objectives, schedules, and customer priorities.
• Lead and coordinate concurrent program deliveries across geographically dispersed locations and operational environments.
• Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise to program managers, engineers, technical staff, and operational teams.
• Serve as a senior interface with Government customers, including Army and DoD program offices, acquisition organizations, technical leadership, and operational stakeholders.
• Apply disciplined program management practices to establish and maintain cost, schedule, performance, quality, and risk objectives.
• Provide oversight of program execution and identify, assess, and mitigate technical, operational, schedule, and resource risks.
• Support program planning, execution reviews, integrated master schedules, technical reviews, program status reporting, and performance assessments.
• Ensure technical solutions and program execution approaches comply with applicable Army, DoD, cybersecurity, network, acquisition, engineering, and operational requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams responsible for delivering complex technical capabilities and resolving program execution challenges.
• Evaluate technical approaches, architectures, systems integration activities, and operational requirements to support informed Government decision-making.
• Provide technical and programmatic recommendations to senior leadership based on analysis of program performance, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, cybersecurity, logistics, operations, acquisition, and other functional organizations to ensure integrated program execution.
• Support customer engagements, briefings, technical demonstrations, milestone reviews, and executive-level program presentations.
• Monitor program performance against established objectives and develop corrective-action strategies when performance deviates from approved baselines.
• Mentor technical and program personnel and promote consistent execution, engineering discipline, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other technical and program management duties as required to support mission and contract objectives.

Qualifications

• ALL candidates MUST hold an active Secret security clearance to qualify for consideration.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience leading operational execution of U.S. Army or DoD IT, network, communications, instrumentation, or related technical programs.
• At least 5 years of experience within the last 10 years managing concurrent, multi-site program deliveries.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a Government Product Lead, Assistant Program Manager, Program Manager, or equivalent leadership role supporting an Army Acquisition Category (ACAT) program.
• Demonstrated responsibility for, or direct accountability supporting, cost, schedule, and performance management.
• Current DAWIA Level III certification, or Practitioner-level equivalent under the current DoD credentialing framework, in Program Management or Systems Engineering.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical discipline.

Business Development

• Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millenniums strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements

Less than 10%

COMPENSATION:

$185k-$190k

 

The salary range provided for this position is intended as a general guideline and does not guarantee a specific salary or compensation amount. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, relevant education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
