Veterinarian

In 2025, we opened the doors to our largest and newest veterinary hospital, Het Noorden, in the beautiful city of Groningen. Located in a modern, well-equipped facility surrounded by greenery, we are looking for a Veterinarian – Emergency & Inpatient Care to join our team.

What will you do?
As an Emergency & Inpatient Care Veterinarian, you will be responsible for triaging, receiving, stabilising and treating emergency and inpatient patients requiring acute medical care. You will develop treatment plans, closely monitor patients’ progress and ensure that they receive the appropriate care and monitoring throughout their hospital stay. You will also actively contribute to the development and improvement of protocols within emergency and inpatient care.

This is you

• You have completed a veterinary degree and are registered in the veterinary register;

• You have at least five years of experience as an emergency and inpatient care veterinarian, or you are looking to progress from working in a veterinary clinic to a veterinary hospital;

• You are available to work 32 hours per week;

• You have a good command of Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written;

• You are available to work various shifts as part of the rota (day, evening, night and weekend).
