Our client is a leading global consumer-products organization operating in 175+ countries, with approximately 40,000 employees worldwide. The organization manages a portfolio of well-known brands across personal care, family care, and other essential consumer products.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Financial Controller to support UK trading entities and holding companies within a multinational finance organization.

The successful candidate will have strong experience in UK accounting and statutory reporting, with exposure to US GAAP, audit, tax compliance, and shared-service accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting for UK entities.

• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and reporting.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

• Coordinate external audits and provide required documentation.

• Support US GAAP reporting and corporate accounting requirements.

• Work with tax teams on UK tax compliance.

• Oversee and collaborate with shared-service accounting teams.

• Identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues.

• Utilize systems such as HFM and BlackLine.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant accounting/financial control experience.

• Experience supporting UK legal entities in a multinational environment.

• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and audit processes.

• Experience with US GAAP.

• Experience with HFM and/or BlackLine preferred.

• Knowledge of tax compliance and shared-service accounting models.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Fluent English (spoken and written).

• Polish language skills required.

• Must be based in Poland and able to work UK/European core business hours.
