As a Manager Total Account Management – Area Sales Team Mexico, the support motivates the team responsible for providing a creative selling platform for Hiltons diverse portfolio of brands to grow market share. On the Area Sales Team Mexico, you will report to the Director of ASOs Caribbean & Latin America. focusing on building positive partnerships with your TAM (Total Account Management) account roster. This roster is within the following regions: Chihuahua, Tijuana, Durango, Baja California, Mazatlán, and Sinaloa.

What youll do during a typical day:

  • Develop new accounts and solicitation of new customer relationships, while growing existing relationship with current accounts.
  • Be committed to improving revenue and growing Hiltons market share and manage the facilitation annual contracting process for your accounts.
  • Be the main contact for the assigned account roster. The main contact will keep both hotels and brand representatives informed about assigned accounts. The goal of maintaining relationships with assigned accounts is to improve revenue and increase market share into Hilton hotels in Mexico.
  • Lead the account management and account development for a roster of accounts that is segmented geographically in the Chihuahua.
  • Directly responsible for soliciting, qualifying, and generating and converting new business for our Mexico hotels from local accounts in your geographic region.
  • Be responsible for overall account planning strategy to facilitate growth.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of negotiating business travel sales contracts with corporate accounts, an understanding of the local contracting and RFP Process, business travel sales terminology, and business travel sales reporting.

How youll collaborate with others:

  • Make introductions to clients during sales calls, tradeshows, conventions, and local events.
  • Assist hotels with conflict resolution, contract negotiation, support of hotels business/revenue needs, and closing sales.
  • Represent Mexico Area Sales Team and with leadership in familiarization (FAM) trips, travel and domestic tradeshows, and industry events to meet with unmanaged accounts and create new business opportunities.

Deliverables youll take ownership of:

  • Identify priorities of hotels and maintain relationships with them.
  • Produce a yearly pre-determined revenue in room, meetings, and food and beverage to the corporation.
  • Achieve booked domestic revenue quotas. Set and achieve sales competencies as discussed between you and your manager.
  • Maintain Salesforce/MicroStrategy reports, including call reports, meeting profiles, history, and traces.
  • Submit monthly reports, ad hoc reports, and complete projects and deliverables by due dates.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Four (4) years of professional experience
  • Three (3) years of direct sales experience in the hospitality or travel industry
  • Experience prospecting and account development
  • Negotiation and sales skills
  • Spanish and English fluency (oral and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Web-Ex.
  • Based or willing to relocate to Chihuahua, MX
  • Travel up to 20%

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelors degree
  • Experience using Salesforce and MicroStrategy
  • Willingness to travel to the United States
