In-Room Dining Order Taker (Part-Time)

What will I be doing?

As an Order Taker, you will play a key role in delivering a positive guest experience by handling room service orders with efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism. Responsibilities include performing the following duties to the highest standards:

· Answer room service telephones and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner

· Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including restaurant promotions, daily specials, preparation methods, and ingredients

· Upsell food and beverage items, including sides, desserts, beverages, and promotional offerings, to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue

· Accurately take guest food and beverage orders and enter them into the appropriate point-of-sale (POS) system

· Reconcile checks upon order delivery, including verifying totals, ensuring proper gratuity distribution, and managing the cash drawer and house bank in accordance with established accounting procedures
