Social Creative Producer

Location: Remote (Toluca Lake, California, US)

Department: Creative & Production

Job Description:

Our Social Creative Producers do more than most! Youll own every facet of project management from first outreach to final delivery, and youll also serve in an account capacity as the clients primary point of contact. This is not a job for someone who wants to make social content that follows the status quo or is focused simply on putting out a high volume of content. If you want to be the person who holds it all together and leads the team to constantly innovate the way in which social is produced, then this role is for you!

As a Social Creative Producer, youll lead social content production across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, X, and emerging channels. Youll keep quality, budgets, and processes on track while making sure both clients and our team are set up for success. The role is a balance of speed and craft: youll stay on top of platform trends and audience behavior while upholding the creative and brand standards that make our work stand out.

Were looking for someone who enjoys shaping how the work gets done. Social programs vary widely in volume, pace, and complexity, so youll need to tailor workflows and processes to each project. That could mean building a lean, rapid-turnaround system for always-on content or a more structured approach for a larger campaign, then refining it as the work evolves.

Youll also take on account responsibilities. Along with leading production, youll serve as the main point of contact for clients, owning the day-to-day relationship and finding opportunities to grow the partnership. Youll be someone clients can count on for clear, quick, and proactive communication, which is essential in a space that moves as fast as social.

As the primary lead of projects, you are expected to initiate and guide the process with a steady hand and motivational demeanor, ensuring all team members are well-informed and set up to do the best work possible. Likewise, as the main point of contact for clients, it’s essential for the Producer to communicate clearly and effectively and in a time-sensitive manner at all stages of production.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of professional producing experience in marketing and short-form social content.
  • Prior creative agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Prior game marketing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and with clients.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the entire creative project lifecycle of social projects and campaigns from initial intake to final delivery, and be a key sounding board for all members of the team.
  • Serve as the team leader of each of your projects - keep morale high, help prevent burnout/prompt time off as compensation for long hours, and have some fun making cool stuff.
  • Define and monitor project scope, including timeline/production schedules, deliverables, resources, and budgets, ensuring projects deliver on time and within budget.
  • Assess and report how each project is tracking against the budget.
  • Develop intuitive and efficient project plans and budget estimates for new work.
  • Assess each projects unique needs and develop workflows and processes best suited for maximum efficiency while maintaining creative excellence.
  • Continually evaluate, adjust, and uphold departmental processes and workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and work/life balance, including developing the process/workflow documentation as needed. Tailor production workflows to best support each project’s unique needs.
  • Evaluate project development and guide the team in ensuring the project’s creative vision and high-quality standards are realized both internally and externally.
  • Own and drive all internal and external project meetings.
  • Clearly communicate project plans, processes, status, objectives, timelines, direction, and feedback to internal team members as well as clients.
  • Schedule and coordinate the work of writing/creative, editorial, game capture, and art departments as required by individual jobs.
  • Create, manage, organize, and distribute all project information and documentation, including project or vendor briefs.
  • Work closely with and keep the project’s Account Lead informed of a project’s progress and be proactive in proposing solutions.
  • Build and maintain a strong rapport with clients by being collaborative, consistent, and proactive in identifying and addressing their needs.
  • Maintain an extensive and comprehensive knowledge of each brand/project in order to ensure all deliverables meet client and internal expectations.
  • Review and relay client notes to all departments.
  • Ensure all vendor and client contracts are executed correctly.
  • Delegate work to and oversee the performance of Associate Producers and Coordinators assigned to your projects.
  • Train Associate Producers and Coordinators in the production process to help foster their growth within the production department.

The pay range for this role is:

95,000.00 - 130,000.00 USD per year (based on location and level of experience)
